Essanelle Hair Group appoints Dieter Bonk and
Dirk Wiethölter as new members of the Management Board
Achim Mansen is new Chairman

Düsseldorf, February 1, 2008 – The Essanelle Hair Group AG is to expand its Management Board from February 1, 2008, with the appointment of Dieter Bonk (40) and Dirk Wiethölter (41). Bonk has been with the company for 22 years and has recently served as Sales Director with responsibility for the Western Region. He is to take over Sales as a key management function and will therefore have a core role in the implementation of the company’s growth strategy. Wiethölter will be serving as HR Manager and Director of Labour, which includes above all the general responsibility for the workforce. He has worked for the company for 15 years, and his most recent function has been that of Area Director in Human Resources. As Chairman of the Administrative Board of the BKK Essanelle Health Insurance Fund, he was a founding member of same and has successfully supported its development.

Joachim Dübner, Chairman of the Executive Board, says: “By appointing Dieter Bonk and Dirk Wiethölter, we are ensuring a high level of continuity within the company, which includes, in particular, our successful strategic direction of the last few years. Achim Mansen will be serving as Chairman of the Management Board while continuing as Finance Manager. “The appointment of Achim Mansen as Chairman,” says Dübner, “was a logical consequence for us, as he has made a substantial contribution to leading the Essanelle Hair Group out of a difficult situation in recent years and has helped to shape it into an extremely sound, fast growing company.”
