Uwe Grimminger to retire from the Management Board as of January 31, 2008

Düsseldorf, November 28, 2007 – Mr Uwe Grimminger is retiring from the Management Board for personal reasons as of January 31, 2008, leaving on amicable terms with the Supervisory Board and the shareholders of Essanelle Hair Group AG. The Supervisory Board has expressed its gratitude to Mr Grimminger for his long-standing services rendered to the benefit of the company and its shareholders.

Uwe Grimminger believes that the company's current strategy maps out a successful course which the company can continue to pursue by a newly composed Management Board.

Joachim Dübner, Chairman of the company's Supervisory Board, said: "Uwe Grimminger was instrumental in taking Essanelle Hair Group public in 2001 and has successfully positioned the company in the market in conjunction with his fellow Management Board member, Achim Mansen. Already today it is apparent that 2007 will be the best year in the company's history. The Supervisory Board expressly appreciates Mr Grimminger's strong commitment and his excellent work and wish him all the best for his future."

Uwe Grimminger joined today's Essanelle Hair Group AG in 1993 as commercial director of Essanelle GmbH. In 1995 he became general director and subsequently general director and shareholder (MBO). Since 2001 he has chaired the Management Board of Germany's only listed hair salon chain.

Achim Mansen, who joined the company’s Management Board back in 2000, will act as sole Management Board member for the time being and continue the company's successful strategic course. The Supervisory Board plans to appoint a second member to the Management Board at a not too distant time in the coming months.
