Annual General Meeting decides to pay out first dividend

EUR 0.50 per share for fiscal 2007

All agenda items approved by vast majority of shareholders

At today’s Annual General Meeting of Essanelle Hair Group AG, the shareholders decided to pay out the first-ever dividend in an amount of EUR 0.50 per share. All shareholders agreed with this proposal by the Management Board and the Supervisory Board. All other items on the agenda were also approved by a vast majority of shareholders. The Management Board reported on the successful fiscal year 2007 and presented a positive outlook on the current fiscal year.

“Over the past years, we have constantly improved our earnings position and led the company onto a steady growth track. Now the time has come to give our shareholders a share in this growth. The payout of a dividend is the logical consequence of the corporate and earnings growth in the past years,” said Achim Mansen, CEO of Essanelle Hair Group. The Management Board also described the plans that are to take the company forward. These include, among other things, the revitalisation of the “essanelle Ihr Friseur” brand as well as the expansion of the fast-growing HairExpress and Top Ten

Essanelle Hair Group AG had a positive start to the fiscal year 2008. Sales for the first three months amounted to EUR 31.3 million, which represents an increase of 6.5 percent. “We are satisfied with the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The figures show that the objectives we have set ourselves for 2008 are realistic and that the company is on a very good growth track.”
